Overview
The Product Catalog section in your Fynd Commerce admin allows you to create, organize, and manage all your products across storefronts and sales channels. From simple product setup to bulk uploads, pricing, inventory, and media management, this section acts as the foundation for everything you sell.
Fynd Commerce offers flexible tools to help you manage individual items or large catalogs efficiently—whether you’re just getting started or scaling your business.
Features of Product Catalog Management
At the minimum, a product in Fynd Commerce requires a product name and a selling price. From there, you can enrich your listings with:
- Product descriptions: Add detailed, SEO-friendly text using rich formatting.
- Media assets: Upload multiple product images, videos, or documents.
- Inventory data: Add stock quantities for each size, SKU, or location.
- Pricing and taxes: Define standard prices, MRP, and taxation (HSN codes, GST).
- Identifiers: Add multiple identifiers like EAN/UPC, seller IDs, barcodes, and more.
- Variants and sizes: Manage products with multiple size or color options.
- Tags and metadata: Use tags and custom data fields to categorize and filter products.
- Verification and review: Products can be auto-verified or manually reviewed based on business rules.
You can choose to create single products, set products (bundles), or import product data in bulk via CSV files.
Product Details Configuration
When creating a product, Fynd Commerce allows you to configure the following fields:
- Title and Description: Add a product name and detailed content for both storefront display and SEO optimization.
- Product Images: Upload multiple images per product; supports zoom and responsive views.
- Pricing: Set the selling price, actual price (MRP), and any promotional pricing.
- Tax Settings: Assign HSN codes and configure GST and regional taxes.
- Inventory: Input quantities per fulfillment location or across all.
- Identifiers: Add SKU, Seller Identifier, Barcode, and other custom fields.
- Size and Variant Management: Add predefined sizes or create variant groups.
- Media Assets: Upload additional documents or technical specs, if needed.

Product Management Capabilities
After adding products, you can manage them efficiently using:
- Bulk Actions: Update multiple products at once for prices, tags, visibility, or inventory levels.
- CSV Imports and Exports: Import or export product data in spreadsheet form for quick edits or migrations.
- Partial Updates: Apply small changes (e.g. update pricing or inventory) without reuploading full product data.
- Media Asset Management: Upload and map images or documents in bulk using import tools.
- Product Verification Tools: Review pending products that require approval or correction.
Organizing Your Catalog
To make your store easier to navigate and manage:
- Use Tags to group products logically (e.g. seasonal, bestsellers).
- Create Collections or Categories to display grouped products on your storefront.
- Filter by Status or Source: Manage approved, rejected, or pending products in a unified dashboard.

Once your product catalog is set up, it connects seamlessly with other parts of your Fynd Commerce system:
