Sequencing
Sequencing allows you to manage the display order of Modes of Payment (MOPs) and Sub-Modes of Payment (Sub-MOPs) during checkout. This ensures that the most relevant payment options appear first based on your preferences.
Understanding sequencing
Sequencing is available for both:
- Storefront (customer-facing website or app)
- Store OS (in-store or POS setup)
You can sequence payment methods for different devices:
- Website
- iOS
- Android
- Payment Link (available only for Store OS)
Rearranging MOPs
- Select your Business Unit (Storefront or Store OS) and Device
- You’ll see a list of all configured MOPs
- Drag and drop the payment methods to rearrange their order of appearance during checkout
- Click Save to apply changes
Rearranging Sub-MOPs
Some MOPs, like Card or Cardless EMI, have multiple Sub-MOPs (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, EarlySalary, ZestMoney).
To rearrange Sub-MOPs:
- Click the gear icon beside a MOP with Sub-MOPs
- In the pop-up, drag and drop Sub-MOPs into your preferred sequence
- Click Save to confirm
Copy Sequence
If you’ve configured sequencing for one device (e.g. Website), you can quickly copy it to others (e.g. iOS, Android):
- Click Copy Sequence
- In the Copy From section, the current device is shown
- In Copy To, choose one or more devices
- Click Proceed
This avoids repetitive manual adjustments and ensures consistency across platforms.
Some MOPs or Sub-MOPs may appear as inactive if not enabled in the respective payment gateway or for the selected sales channel/device.
