Cataloging Process
Creating Product Catalog
After the Onboarding process is complete, the seller will need to add product listings to sell the products on Flipkart. This can be done by creating a product catalog.
For customers to buy the products, it is essential to have a good product catalog. By following a few simple steps, you can create your own catalog and start selling your products. Once the images are ready, provide the product details clearly.

| Single Listing | If you want to add a single product or add products one at a time, you need to do a Single listing |
| New Listing | To add a new single listing, refer to Create Single Listing |
| Existing Listing | If you want to add products that are already sold on Flipkart, you will need to create a listing for them Refer to Latching Single Listing from Existing Flipkart Catalog |
| Bulk Listing | If you want to add multiple products in one go, you will need to do a bulk listing |
| New Listing | To add listings in bulk, refer to Create New Listings in Bulk |
| Existing Listing | If you want to add to existing listings or edit existing listings, refer to Latching Bulk Listing from Existing Flipkart Catalog |

Turnaround Time
Once you have edited the catalog, you can track the submitted request in the QC Pending tab with the change request type as Edit Catalog Request The Quality Check takes about 48 hours to complete.

Identifying errors in catalog file
- The Auto Validation result is immediately generated after the system check.
- You can download the unsuccessful listings and correct them.
- The unsuccessful listings will have an error message as AV Failed with the rejection reason and the error attributes will be highlighted in red.
- To fix the errors, download the product catalog again.
- Fix the errors.
- Re-upload the same catalog without changing the name, format or structure.
Catalog enrichment
A well-crafted catalog helps the customer to understand the product better and increase sales. It is important to enrich your catalog appropriately. This can be done by adhering to the terms of use:
- Authorizing a ‘content service provider’ that is facilitated by Flipkart.
- There are no additional charges for authorizing a content service provider to edit your listings.
- They can perform image-based and non image-based edits.
- This will help in the new listings passing quality checks and augment the customer experience.
