Fulfillment Options

How to access on Fynd Commerce

Fulfilment Options let merchants offer multiple delivery choices such as Standard Delivery, Express Delivery, and Quick Delivery, based on store capability, customer location, and delivery partner availability.

These options appear on the Product Detail Page (PDP), and the same eligibility and promise rules control availability and delivery dates across PDP, cart, and checkout, keeping expectations clear and consistent.

Before You Start

To use this feature, make sure that Fynd’s Turbo theme is enabled for your sales channel.

Default Fulfilment Option

Every sales channel comes with a default “Standard Delivery” option, which:

  • Is enabled by default
  • Applies to all products, locations, and delivery partners
  • Cannot be deleted but can be edited

Creating a New Fulfilment Option

Click + Add Fulfilment Option under the “Delivery” section to start configuring.

Step 1: Basic Details

  • Fulfilment Option Name: This is what customers will see on the product page. Enter a name that matches your brand and delivery promise. (Example: Express Delivery, Same Day Delivery, Quick Delivery)
  • Description (Optional): A short explanation. (Example: Delivered within 2 hours for nearby locations.)
  • Slug is auto-generated from the name.
  • Business Units:
    • Select Store OS if the fulfilment method is to be enabled for StoreOS.
    • Select Storefront to enable it for online storefront

Toggle ON if this fulfilment option should appear only when the product can be delivered within a certain timeframe.

This ensures your fast-delivery options (like Same Day or Hyperlocal) only appear when they can actually be met.

Choose from:

  • Same Day
  • Next Day
  • Custom Time (like “3 hours” or “30 minutes” — useful for hyperlocal)

Step 3: Fulfilling Locations

This defines which stores can fulfil this option.

  • Click Add
  • Choose between Add Manually or Bulk Upload
  • Select the locations and click Done

Assign metro or nearby stores for Quick/Hyperlocal; use warehouses for Standard.

Step 4: Products

Assign the products that can be shipped under this fulfilment option.

  • Click Add
  • Choose to add Manually or via Bulk Upload
  • Select and confirm the products

Example: Groceries or fashion essentials for Quick; bulky items for Standard.

Step 5: Delivery Partners

Assign a delivery partner capable of meeting the delivery promise.

  • Click Add
  • Add manually or in bulk
  • Choose only partners who can meet tight timelines (especially for express or hyperlocal deliveries)

Step 6: Activate and Save

  • Toggle the Active switch at the top-right
  • Click Save to apply the fulfilment option

Once saved and active, the new delivery option will be:

  • Visible on eligible products on the Product Detail Page
  • Automatically hidden when delivery time or coverage doesn't match
Quick Commerce Use Case

If you're offering Hyperlocal Delivery (e.g., within a city or a few km radius), here's how to configure it:

Name: Quick Delivery

Description: Delivered within 2 hours by your local store

Delivery Time: Use Custom Time, enter a short timeframe like "2 hours"

Fulfilling Locations: Select only stores which can fulfill the orders quickly

Products: Choose fast-moving inventory or essentials stocked at those stores

Delivery Partner: Use hyperlocal partners capable of quick turnaround (like Fynd TMS, Blitz, etc.)

This setup ensures that customers nearby will only see Quick Delivery if the selected store and partner can realistically fulfil it.

Bulk Upload (Optional – Advanced)

You can bulk upload for:

  • Fulfilling Locations
  • Products

Steps:

  1. Click Add, then select Bulk Upload

  2. Download the sample CSV template

  3. Fill in required fields

    • Locations: Store Code
    • Products: Item Code, Brand Name
  4. Upload the filled CSV

  5. Review and click Done

Use Fulfilment Options to:
  • Offer delivery flexibility: standard, express, or hyperlocal
  • Assign specific stores, products, and partners
  • Control visibility using delivery time conditions
  • Streamline the customer experience with accurate delivery promises

Example Scenarios

Use CaseSetup Strategy

Customer Experience with Fulfilment Options

Once Fulfilment Options are configured and active, here's how they appear to customers on the storefront:

  • On the PDP, delivery methods like Express or Hyperlocal appear alongside Standard Delivery, allowing customers to choose their preferred option.
  • The customer’s location and store/delivery partner capability are automatically checked to display only valid delivery options.
  • At Checkout, the estimated delivery date is shown in the Bag Summary and Order Summary, so customers know exactly when to expect their order.
