Delivery Zone

How to access on Fynd Commerce

Overview

Creating delivery zones involves defining the geographical regions where you wish to offer your products, the specific products available in these regions, and the locations from which you will fulfill the products.

The process of creating a delivery zone is outlined below.

Steps to create a Delivery Zone

We will go through each section step-by-step.

Zone Details

  1. Enter Delivery Zone Name: Enter a name for the delivery zone. The slug (a URL-friendly version of the name) will be automatically generated in the field below once the name is entered.

After entering the delivery zone name, the following sections will be enabled for configuration: Geographical Areas, Selling Locations, Products.

Geographical Areas Configuration

  1. In the Geographical Areas section, click on the Add dropdown.

  2. You will have two options for adding geographical areas:

    • Bulk Upload: If you choose Bulk Upload, a bulk action screen will open. Click Download Sample to download the Geo area sample CSV file. Enter the data in the CSV file and upload it to update or add geographical areas in bulk. The file will contain the following columns:

      • Country
      • State
      • City
      • Sector
      • Pincode
    • Manual Entry: If you choose Manual, the "Add Geographical Area" screen will appear. There are two options in the geographical area:

      • Limit by Pincode
        • Select the country and then enter the pincode(s) you want to serve. You can enter multiple pincodes separated by commas, up to a limit of 50 pincodes at a time.
        • To add multiple countries, click Add Country and follow the same steps for adding pincodes for each country.
      • Limit by Country/State/Area
        • Select the country, then select the corresponding states and districts or areas.
        • You can select a state to include all corresponding areas, or click the dropdown to select specific areas.
  3. After configuring the geographical areas, click Save. If you need to edit later, click Manage, make your changes, and then click Save again.

Selling Locations Configuration

  1. In the Selling Locations section, click Add.

  2. Choose the selling locations from the list that appears after clicking Add.

  3. Click Save to confirm the selected selling locations.

    • To remove a selling location, click the cross icon next to it.
    • To edit the selection, click Manage and make changes, then save.

Product Configuration

  1. In the Product section, click on the Add Products Via dropdown button. You will have the following options:

    • By Department
    • By Categories
    • By Product Tag
